7 Sweet Tea Recipes for a Sweeter Summer

Peach Sweet Tea Punch
Ingredients
3 cups iced tea (premade or homemade)
3 ounces of vodka
3 ounces of peach schnapps
1 peach sliced
Ice
If you want homemade iced tea, boil the water, and infuse four teabags for five minutes in a pitcher. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator until the water is cool. Combine the vodka and schnapps. Place ice and peach slices into the glass. Pour the punch on top of the ice and peaches and serve cold.
Blueberry Lemon Sweet Tea
Ingredients
4 cups of water
12 ounces of frozen blueberries
½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 family sized tea bags
½ cup sugar
Optional: vodka
Place the lemon juice and blueberries into a saucepan and cook until the blueberries are soft. Strain the juice from the solids and set aside. Place the water in the saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the three tea bags. Seep the bags for five minutes. Add in the fruit juice and sugar. Mix until the sugar is dissolved. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve over ice. Optional, add ½-1 ounce of vodka per glass over ice and top with the blueberry lemon tea.
Lemon Mint Bourbon Sweet Tea
Ingredients
½ cup chopped mint leaves
1 lemon sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
3 cups cold tea (sweetened tea makes it sweeter)
1 cup bourbon
Ice cubes
Combine the lemon, mint and sugar in a pitcher. Muddle the ingredients. Stir in tea and bourbon. Pour over ice in four separate glasses.
Traditional Vodka Lemon Sweet Tea
Ingredients
1 cup sweet tea
½ cup lemonade
½ cup vodka
Combine ingredients into a pitcher, stir and serve over ice.
Raspberry Lime Sweet Tea
Ingredients
1 two-liter sweet iced tea
2 cups pineapple juice
1 lime juiced
1 lime sliced
1 cup raspberries
Bourbon (to taste)
Place raspberries in a pitcher and muddle. Add the iced tea, pineapple and lime juice. If desired, pour the liquid over a strainer to remove the raspberry chunks. Gradually, add the bourbon one ounce at a time. Place ice and lime slices in a glass. Pour tea over ice and serve cold.
Spiked Berry Tea
Ingredients
8 cups of water
2 family sized iced tea bags
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup vodka
1 ½ cup Chambord liquor
1 cup of your favorite berry chopped
Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Seep the tea bags for 10-15 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add sugar and baking soda. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Chill the tea in the refrigerator. Add the alcohol and mix. Place ice and chopped berries into a glass and pour the tea. Let it sit for several minutes before serving.
Apple Rum Sweet Tea
Ingredients
1 cup sweet tea
1 cup apple juice
½ cup pineapple juice
Rum (to taste)
Ice
Combine the first three ingredients. Gradually add rum (in one ounce servings) until taste. Serve over ice.
